60 min on zwift. Some 5 min intervals then played around and nabbed a couple sprint jerseys. Fun stuff. You can flip riding direction by pressing the up or down arrow on the keyboard.

Failed 20 minute test last night. Right hip/leg started to tighten up and hurt...
Need to get longer intervals in and get used to >20 minutes of effort again.
Not using the number I got last night..will lower my FTP, but I know its higher than what I averaged last night.
Stupid leg

2hrs on the rollers. 4*10' then some z2. I hate the perpetual "will the roads be icy or should i just ride inside?" debate this time of year. so it goes.

3x20 outside. It is absolutely disgusting out. Freezing fog, icy filth on the roads, just gross.
2 minutes from the end of my ride I ran into TKP and my teammate who were almost 4 hours in. TKP looked happy because he has a new bike but my teammate looked almost suicidal.

2x20 + 1x10. I have been unable to feel "full" (meaning I don't want to stop eating) for the last few days and I ended up bonking pretty hard at the end. Diet hasn't changed except for less beer and cookies, need to figure this out.

2:20 on the rollers building tempo and then some race ending simulations.

2x20 @ ftp. I'm bad at working through the burn right now and periodically pause for a second, trying to figure out if it's a something to genuinely work through or if I'm overreaching on my target. either way, felt good to put in that kind of effort, I need to stay acquainted with suffering every now and then

Something of a kitchen sink workout today:
2x10" sprints
1x5' 111%
1x30' 91%
1x5' 112%
2 more sprints
All on Fiesta Island with 4-6min RI's in between. I've been feeling pretty queasy/blegh lately, so I was ready to pull the plug if the first 5' didn't feel good, but it did, so cool beans. On that note, I've decided to not drink alcohol for the entirety of January to save some money, lose a little weight, and figure out these minor health problems I'm having. My gf will join me for most of all of it, so there will be some solidarity there.
Also, in other news, I've joined a new squad for 2016, SDBC cat3. They're fairly well supported, and have a ~15 rider roster, many of whom I already know and are quite strong. I'm looking forward to participating more in 2016, and making it a fun, social year of racing!
Yay.

You know it did, but I had a relapse of symptoms when my omeprazole subscription ended. I kept a dairy and noticed that the symptoms lagged behind omeprazole by 7-10 days. I'm self-medicating with OTC Prilosec for the time being, and have a follow up with my PCP next week. Symptoms are certainly more mild than they were previously, so that's good I guess. H. Pylori came back negative in the blood IgG assay, so it's not that.
I'm certain that my symptoms are at least partially psychosomatic (I get stressed/nervous easily) and diet/lifestyle related, which is a lot of why I'm excited to experiment with an alcohol-free January. Still, I'm interested in pursuing any clinical diagnostic route that makes sense. I'm confident that eventually I will be in the clear, and I'm ready for it to take a while. Still, I'm able to train hard at the moment, so thing aren't really all that bad
Anyway, sorry for blabbing my mouth off, and thanks for sayin' something .

It's true.
I thought I had gapped you but when I cracked about 7 seconds into hard effort - there you were!
