Nothing like the right part, at a price you can't refuse. Thank you Belg-Ital Steel for the awesome shifters! Clean enough to start making me think repaint. This frame is plenty beat, but mostly just appearance. It "had" a seat tube dent when I got it, but a nice tapered end disposable seat post and some green grease, and it all but vanished. On the way... Just need to spend the big bucks next. A set of cranks, and some brakes. I recently received a Christmas gift of a CLEAN 77 NR rear derailleur too. I should add a picture of that, though it came by Nissan Frontier rather than the post.,,,,BD
I am stunned that my LG phone took this picture. As good or better than my digital camera...

Do you wear this alone in cold weather (referring to upper body only)? What temps would you be comforable wearing only this....20's, teens, 30's?
This would be perfect for my cold weather rides, but I'm guessing I would need something termal underneath even in the 40's, and for colder weather perhaps something over.
Is it "temperature rated" for certain ranges? I know you said quite warm but at what temps?
Would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

It definitely seems like an outer layer garment to me.

Monoplanars for the 85 EM.
Felt the need to be more period correct.
This didn't come today, but recently.
Since the Eddy lacks in the shiny chrome frame/fork dept, I thought it needed drillium flash.

A large box of Italian bicycle jewelry for the Merkcx, and a Brooks saddle suitable for the chic-shabby '79 Trek.

I found someone selling SunTour barcon shifter bolt sets on eBay - actually stainless reproductions of the bolt - complete with both the 'regular' nut and outer finish nut. Now my barcons that are missing that outer finish nut will be complete!!
Bikeville thoughts: For Sale: Suntour Bar-Con bar-end shifter hardware set.

IMHO that's almost a perfect application for stainless. It will resist rust, and high clamping force isn't needed for these pieces. Affordable?,,,,BD
EDIT: Just noticed the price in the paragraph... Not too bad, since I paid 10 bucks more than that for two machined spacers for a Cannondale Super-V.

I finally got my Schwalbe HS-159's I ordered from biketiresdirect for $38 shipped. I made the order on the 28th of December. My first time trying these. The price was right, and they have flat protection. Fingers crossed for a decent ride quality.,,,,BD
