For sale is a gorgeous 59cm Davidson Impulse road bike. made of Tange Prestige tubing, and handbuilt in Seattle. probably a 7110 crankset. It was offered for maybe 2 years as the standard pedal option, while the 7200 ex was pushing dynadrive pedals. (only reason I know this bit of obscurity is that a 7110 came on the 84 Team Miyata I am building right now......looks way more campyesque then other dura ace)

I've never heard of a Sierra model Schwinn from the early 60s:

Looks to be fillet brazed.
Could there be a Superior hiding under that Sierra decal?

I may be wrong but I don't think that's fillet brazed - the tops of the seat stays are rounded and intersect the top tube, typical of the heavy electro-forged models.

It turns out there was a Sierra model:

https://waterfordbikes.com/SchwinnCa...lr_Sierra.html

Maybe it was a single-year model. I didn't see any other catalog pages for that model in the 1951-1980 page names.

One of the first bikes I bought, rebuilt and sold was an old coppertone Sierra 15 speed. I made 100 bucks, which was pretty cool for a 14 year old in 1970.
