Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No, I purchased it used around 2008. It was quite the Frankenstein when I first got it. That tire, I believe, was a Tufo S3 Lite, 19mm. Rear was 21mm. Those photos are quite old, actually. I've swapped a few things since then...here's a more recent photo:

My 2014 Anyroad 1. I have to stop treating it like it's a fatbike.

Show off my giant what?! Unfortunately, the only giant I have is a bicycle and it's not even a road bike. I'm so unworthy.

So...

It's finished.

Fresh Vittoria Corsa CX tires on the old Cosmics. Bottle cages like the pros use Carbon saddle and crank (they ran out of the regular black ones and sent the carbon one instead),

Regular black Athena elsewhere, Superleggera/o bars and stem. Basic Giant RideSense computer.

Celebrating our 25th year together

Still sporting original tires, changed out seat, sprockets, grips and shifters(still have old stuff)

Bought this bike new in 91 along with a bike for my wife a Giant Rincon, her bike is gone but I just could not for some reason let go of this one.

Worthy to me if you ride it on the road. It's the Road Cycling forum, cycling is a verb, not a noun. It's not the Road Bike forum.

Unfortunately with a computer failure, I haven't finished moving all my photos from the failed computer's hard drive over to my laptop. I need an updated pic anyways to show the new saddle over the stock one and the new pedals.

She isn't much. Frame picked up on eBay and all components bought second (maybe even third) hand. Only thing I got new was the cheapest wheelset on Velomine and tires. It's ok since I'm still extremely slow.

This is my Giant TCR0. Had it from new since 2008, but not sure which model year.
Very happy with it, but had to buy new wheels last year, as a spoke was pulled from the rim on the backwheel.

Just finished the new bike build. Shame I ordered the wrong BB and had to stare at it for a week in the garage. First run out today though, all good.
