Apparently I'm not getting Inside Ride Rollers. Seller and I agreed earlier today to meet this evening. When I texted him to say I'd be leaving soon, and I wanted to verify where we were meeting, he told me he just sold them to someone else.
That guy sucks.

The newer model has some advantages (like the flywheel belt lasts longer), but I still have a set of these and they've been going for eight years.
Inside Ride E-Motion Rollers Trainer - Kurt Kinetic Kreitler | eBay
The buy it now is high in my experience, so the reserve that's on there may be unrealistic. But probably worth watching.

Thanks Gstein. That is really expensive. To buy a new one is $750 - if you can find someone to buy one with you - and that includes free shipping.
The deal I was looking at was $400 for the newest version in like new shape. Rwaki even saw the set and contacted the guy. He had told Rwaki that he was meeting someone on Friday night to sell them. I assumed that was me.

figured this may be germane to this thread. REI is having a 20% off winter sale for members and I checked and the new wahoo kickr is eligible for the discount.

Yeah, those 20% off coupons they run twice a year are a great way to buy big-ticket items that everybody charges MSRP for. I used one to buy my kickr a year or two back. I usually use them when upgrading to the latest Garmin device as well.

I can get a deal though my LBS for the new Cycleops Magnus. Unless the guy backs out, I just sold my Caad10 (finally..) so I will have the cash for it. Anyone use, or know of someone who uses, the Cycleops smart trainers? Ive been using a Fluid2 for years and this would be my first time using a smart trainer. Just looking for some feedback at this point. There isn't much out there on the Magnus
