Now that's the spirit! And they'll still replace it for you for free with their lifetime guarantee because most employees there have run out of ****s to give or are very nice.

The point I'm making is that you don't always need the most expensive tool for a job. I've lifted my truck about 3 times with the floor jack to either rotate tires or tighten a skid plate...if I was an auto mechanic, I'd buy a quality floor jack. Just like most people upgrade bikes the more they get into a hobby or when they find something better to suit their needs.
Now if we really want to flop our dicks around and show off, I could mention that my father was a tractor mechanic, and I inherited his large collection of tools made up of Snap On, Craftsman, and John Deere, his welding tools, his presses, his carpentry tools, his lathes, basically two large pole barns consisting of any mechanic's/woodworker's wet dream...unfortunately it's all back in Michigan and a full sized floor jack is a bit heavy to ship or carry onto a plane.

In my case, I base my opinion on my experience with the tools, not the price. My Dad is a tool junkie and an HF frequent flyer. Every HF tool of his that I've used had some sort of quality control issue. Drill press with wobbly chuck, cordless tools that have failing batteries, levels that aren't true, cutting tools that lose their edge after one use, soldering irons that won't get hot enough, etc. All small things, but they make doing jobs a PITA. I've only purchased one tool there and it was defective too. *Shrug*

I've got over 3K miles on the Wippermann Whitestar 1/8" chain on my khaki Soma Rush, and it's starting to get a bit loud. I'll keep the second chain as a spare, since the other chains on my bikes are in good shape.

I'll see your 1 PC-7X and raise you 1 more. Total with shipping was $34, which averages out to $17 apiece for 2 of them.

I bought one of those PDW Takeout baskets today for my beater bike.
Also bought enve 3.4's laced to pink chris king r45 hubs, a sram xg-1090 cassette, and a kmc x10sl pink lady chain for the roadie.
My bank account hates me.

Just got Spesh 2FO shoes that happen to match the red and black of my bike, have a FSA sprocket and Mavic Ellipses on the way. They looked at me funny when I asked if the wheels are actually round...
