The posting itself is not wacky, but notice the seller's response to another bidder's question. The seller says the BB is French threaded, but the headset is Italian? Does that make any sense? It seems (to my untrained eye) that the fork is original. Could the seller be wrong, or has anyone every heard of mixed threading on a frameset?

One would think that a guy who worked in a bike shop would know what a freewheel is called... and maybe if he could read his hubs wouldn't be named "Norman". This is a 1975 Motobecane Grand Record , Red with Gold and black trim including a Rare Gold rear chain-ring. The pictures do not do this rare bike justice, is a great find in excellent condition. Based on the overall condition and wear in the chain-rings i would guess it never saw more than 300 miles and was stored in a clean garage for 35 years. Fully tuned, overhauled and refurbished at the bike shop i work at about 2 weeks ago. I tried to keep it as original as possible but upgraded some cosmetic parts.
I absolutely love how this bike turned out but it is too nice and good looking for commuting to the shop. It deserves to be in the hands of a collector with all its great original condition and unique parts.

Great paint job - rare red with black and gold hand laid paint
Unique upgraded butted steel features- this bike has the most decorative and elegant butted steel styling offered at the time hand made in France

OK now this is a listing for a car but really what can she be thinking.
"Hello i'm selling a 95 mitsubishi eclipse. I just bought the car on Friday 7-16-10 and the engine blew up on me on Wednesday 7-21-10. So needless to say i just want some money back for the car that i JUST bought. I bought the car for $2800 and i'm just asking $1000 for her. Other than the engine not working she is in great shape. It's a silver car and the interior is a darker grayish. The car has approx. 130,000 miles on her. The car is also due for inspection.
