Ok Track Bike fans, here’s your opportunity to own a piece of history. This is a custom made 57cm CC Frame (ST&TT). Leo Estermann is a famous frame builder from Zurich, Switzerland. I’ll wait for you to Google that and look at the 1st bike that comes up. This is Bike #848, over beers I’ll tell you about its lineage and give you the contact info for someone in Switzerland.
Frame - Nervex lugged all nickel polished
Parts Kit - All Campagnolo Record Pista
Stem - 3 ttt Record
Bar - Cinelli
Post - Record
Saddle - Nitor

I’ve had the pleasure of owning this for 10 years, but now it’s time for a new home. It’s been on my fireplace mantle for too long.

Maybe adjust the brakes too.

Vintage 1960 Schwinn Continental Sport 10 Speed Bicycle | eBay

That is up there but recent sales for first year Schwinn 10 speed Continental have been in $1000-1200 range. I think Suicide was only first two years. The next one down is 8 speed Varsity for 60-61 are $300-500 and also suicide.

Schwinn was not known for higher gears on many earlier bikes so these have picked up speed (pun) as lightweight collectors look for.

Very rear 1983 trek 58cm. Model 710

If I did not already have a 710 and a 720, I would be seriously tempted. The current price ($800) is ambitious, but it might be more realistic after a few weeks.

Seems like a good price on a Zeus Competition near Indy. BTW, I'm sure everybody has noticed the new zoom feature on many CL ads. Sellers no longer have small display size as an excuse to not take good photos. I don't know if it will help, but it can't hurt.

A bit of a mix of components but the bike looks to be well cared for.

That very "rear" Trek is nice, howabout this $50 "Pouch" though? Lots of potential here...

Ha, paid half that for my 290S, all original but for bar tape and tires. Then again, that one has some nifty barcons.

Well it looks to be missing the original saddle, but if it is in your size and you want a cheap bike that rides oh-so-nice, then yeah.

Nice bike, I was fortunate to find one a while back for way less than half of that price. I imagine I did OK.

I am not too impressed with Ross Signature bikes. My wife's ride to work bike is a Ross Signature 292S which cost $15 from Goodwill. Not concerned at all about leaving it outside at her office all day. The 292S is a step up from the ones in the listings. It is ok but nothing special at all. It did have first generation 105 (Golden Arrow) components on it though.

Someone please buy this thing. He started with a complete bike with Dura Ace for 650 bucks or something, now I think he just wants to get rid of it for a fair price or a trade. If it was a 60cm I'd have probably bought it a while back.,,,,BD

It's been interesting to see how the tone of his ad has changed over the last year. Started out very confident in offering such a unique bike and now at the point of just trying to get a nibble.

It will make a great build but it's so dang tall. He should probably put in on eBay.

[h=2]Vintage 1972 Raleigh Super Course - $50 (minneapolis, MN)[/h]Vintage 1972 Raleigh Super Course

This 1972 Raleigh Super Course was my Dad's bike during college, and the bike I used during college. Definitely a sentimental item, but I'm moving out of the country so I can't keep it.

The bike does need some smaller fixes before it's rideable (flat tire, loose mud guards, loose chain), but the frame is still intact, tires are new, so it shouldn't be too complicated.
