^760 is impressive. Late end of 2018, I finished a frame up build '84 760 but have not enough miles on it to fully experience. But for shorter rides I have, it just might be my fave machine. And, this time no tubulars (installed clincher Veloflex Masters).

gang this just may be the greatest bicycle ever made- it's certainly the best i've ever had! be the envy of, well, everyone this spring. early 80's hand made reynolds 531 steel frame mated to a 2000's giant carbon fiber blade fork. they called me mad, said it couldn't be done- but they were wrong!
wild component group is mostly period correct shimano 105 featuring index downtube shifters, ultegra front deraileur and...wait for it...dura-ace 172.5cm track cranks. 105 sealed hubs with original badass araya rims and bullit proof specialized 28mm road tires.
new quill stem with custom cowhorn handlebars. botranger saddle, 105 brakes with kool-stop brake pads. about 23lbs, fast as hell and tough as old boots. goes down the road perfectly, shifts, stops and handles like the champion it is! serious inquiries only, local cash sale please. will deliver free of charge in greater louisville area. thanks for reading my ad everyone, your friend in riding, tk (cross posted!)

^^^^^^ Fastback is not "early" '80s, nor are those graphics. That's at least an '87-ish. Still a nice bike, once it can be cured of that fork.

One of the former mechanics in my LBS was given a Paramount similar to this one by a customer. The mechanic had done a ton of work over years and years for the customer; so the customer repaid him with a sweet Paramount.

58cm - $850 for a gorgeous full 531 race frame. in quite good shape. Reynolds decals do their usual shrinking/decaying, but everything else just needs a wipe down it seems. Owner lists the bike as a 'tandem' (uhhh?) and says it's never been ridden (I never believe that, and my assumption is true by the looks of it). It looks like it's never been ridden much at all. An '82 75x or 95x in 64cm would be a dream to own, IMO. The color combinations (white/red or white/blue) are stunning!
