The last time that happened was to my son's mountain bike, due to under inflation of the rear tire. The tube getting pinched by the rim when either he jumped the bike onto a curb, or entering a cement driveway with a small curb lip. The tell tale sign was tow pinch holes on the side/bottom area of the tube, and 10 to 20 additional psi to the rear tire stopped the constant rear tire flats.
