Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You should start a thread.

As trustee of the archives and co-author of the upcoming autobiography, I can assure you there was no waitress present at that event. However there was a cheerleader in the vicinity.

So our PC somehow got upgraded to Windows 10. One of the girls must have clicked on an "ok" box.

It works but for some reason seems to periodically be super-slow. Any suggestions?

On a happier note, the Saturn's horn died but I was able to get a replacement on ScamBay and after about 30 minutes of finger scraping work, the new horn is installed and works.

You don't appreciate your car's horn until you don't have it.

Fun factoid: Saturn used a now obsolete 3 pin connector horn. Modern cars use a 2 pin. There are apparently conversion kits but I lucked out and got a 3 pin one.

It's interesting how the commentators were saying a few days ago that his Giro was "over..."

I saw "deer in the headlight" looks from the OKC players after that game, I can't see them taking game 7 in Oakland. They couldn't have done it w/o Klay Thompson's performance...I hope its a good close game Monday but won't be surprised with a GS blowout.

Yeah they were stunned, their fans were stunned, and even the sports experts were really, really impressed if not stunned themselves. They seem to always find a way when they need to; last night KT carried them on his back until crunch time, aka SC time. They did everything right in the final 5 minutes while OKC did everything wrong.
