Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? here's my bikesdirect frame all built up, basically took my other kilo and switched everything over, with new bars and stem. the other frame was too big, this is a 57 and i'm 6'3" with a 33" inseam. I've got a super weird build, really short torso, hence the longish seatpost but seat all the way up and mini stem, oh well. it rides nice though, nothing fancy

one thing, i think my chainline's off a bit, i need to fix that.

My friend is six foot 3 and has a 36 inch inseam... there's a good foot of seatpost on his 63 cm Trek touring bike.

Other than that... simple works really well here.

I feel like that Raleigh deserves some leather or cork grips. Absolutely gorgeous nonetheless.

somehow i doubt that. If you didn't have such a ridiculous saddle-bar drop then you'd find that this frame is indeed too small.

Lauterwasser Bars. They're pretty rare so, even though I had no bike to put them on, I made sure to snatch them up when they popped up on ebay.
