I have always been a fan of photos of people actually riding their bikes. So today on the way home from my new favorite LBS I snapped one. This is the last time my bike was seen with a brake. (Thank God) I also decided to switch things up and get some white bar tape. [165] thinks white tape is so 2004.

I might decide to post photos of the bike with white tape and sans brake tomorrow. I also got to order one of my christmas presents from my fiance today...non machined black deep v's. Hopefully the lbs will be able to get them.

It's not odd... that's TOTALLY a transformers (more than meets the eye) fork crown, especially with the black paint detail that looks like eyes.

There was another thread recently asking what the appeal was for japanese frames, and someone suggested that the generation that grew up with transformers, robotech, etc., is now into japanese frames. I commented how cool it would be if five japanese track bikes could come together to form a super robot or a spaceship.

I know, I'm a geek. But it would be cool.

forgive the ignorance please, but the commonly used sizing number... that's the seattube length right? center of bb axle to top of seattube? i'm 6'4", mostly leg, what size should i be riding? I currently have what i beleive to be (haven't measured yet) a 61 and it feels a little tall. I'd like to at least keep my eye out for something in my size.

really? i don't have a very long stem, and i have a conservative seat height, and it still feels a little too long to reach. i was thinking a 59 would probably be best. should the top tube be nudging the nuts or lower? right now, it's right up there!
