thanks!
-the fork is a lugged road fork which tony had powdercoated for me to match the frame
-sugino 75 cranks w/45t zen messenger
-17t eai cog/da lockring
-king headset
-izumi eco chain
-mks sylvans/mks steel clips/soma doubles (these will be swapped later this week for mks rx-1's/toshi singles - it turns out doubles are not my thing at all)
-selle italia turbo saddle
-kalloy seatpost (i am looking for a new or gently used nitto s-83)
-nitto alloy n.j. pro, 110, 58* neg. rise
-answer protaper bars/oury grips
-wheels are nothing to speak of - they are from the nice fellow in miami, but will be swapped for a set of phils laced to open pros this summer
-also keeping my eyes open for a new or gently used phil bottom bracket
-gatorskins, in case anyone cares
this is my only fixed ride these days, so i have decided to keep it entirely sealed bearing/as maintenance-free as possible (hence, king, phils in the future, etc.)
once this is finished, my next will likely be something a little more zippy... probably a bike for nice days. i like that i can (and do) ride this bike in a storm and not worry about it falling to pieces. still fun as anything, though.

Quite easily the sexiest bike I have seen in awhile. It took me your ride to truly appreciate the ***** and bikes jokes floating around these parts.

As for the lockring threads/bearing compression problem I haven't heard anything about that, could you explain? I just got these from work on friday and put them on tonight, so I haven't done any riding on them, and wont until the weather is nicer or I take it to the track.

Now you need the yellow/black Mavic clipless pedals.
Sell me your Campy caliper if you're not using it.

Sorry, but I will still be using the brake since I primarily use it on the street

And then also by word of mouth, I've heard that the aluminum hub shell between the lockring threads and the cartridge bearings is really thin, compressing on the bearings when alot of torque is given to the cog/lockring area.
I also cannot speak from personal experience, so take this as you may.

A few better pictures of the eimei with a more comfortable --and much cheaper-- saddle. Really need to change the cog when I get back to the states. Sorry about the whitewashing of the images (I said they were better, never said they were great).
p.s. any of those cards look familiar?

I didn't tighten down the lockring much yet, but when I do I'll be cautious.
In the meantime I'm gonna pull the rear hub apart and check it out for intrest, get some calipers and see how thin it really is.
Thanks for the info.
