He speaks to the hot shot manager and takes a firm stance. The manager starts giving excuses as to why it happened and tried to play it off like it was no big deal. My uncle used no profanity, but made the point very clear that that was piss poor service to be ashamed of. He demanded his portion to be free, and he got it. A $30 rib slab along with drinks.
At least your uncle waited for the manager to respond (poorly so, I agree that that situation is unacceptable in a restaurant) before demanding a free meal.

Anyways, I think a good manager in a decent restaurant should have offered to comp all or at least part of his meal.

Would've been nice, but it was family dinner, with 10+ heads (irish catholic). That's asking a little much. If the ribs still had organs attached to them, then we're talking.

Here's the problem with the analogy. They're situation was face to face, so feedback is exchanged quickly. I have to wait for these lazy ****s to check their email, read my email, then wait to see what their plan of action is.

If it takes two days to get a response, I don't want to hold a multiple week conversation about this. I want this fixed, yesterday.

Call me impatient. I am.

Oh, and this lolprogram can't even handle my rap genre in one run. This is embarrassing. I feel like childlike understanding of programming can understand the different loads that come from mass quantities. I don't even know if I'm calling the bleep blorps what they are, but this guy obviously slept through his community college classes.

(Not hating on anyone at CC. Took a semester there to knock geneds on the cheap.)

Yes, that's usually how these things go. C'est la vie.

That's why I'm upset. Doesn't matter though, I'm getting over it since I am almost done with my library. I should've been able to set this thing on go and let it magically fix everything in my sleep. Nope, I decide to buy some hippie-commie bull****. His parents were probably a bunch of fair-traders, so they never told the kid the excel. Tragic that his failures are fractionally making my day a little more uncomfortable.

Regardless, its 60 outside and I'm riding. Peace.

I look at your strava sometimes and figure you've gotta be one of the stronger (non track) riders here.

Got a good 40 miles in today through the hail. Woke up to sunshine, but didn't see much of it on the ride.

Wrecked for the first time in months and put my first dent in my top tube. Probably karma kicking my ass for all the negativing energy I've been spewing.
