wats food poisoning? /vegan

Today I had an amusing encounter with a fredly character that called me an "effing idiot" for looking both ways, making sure there is no traffic, and proceeding through a red light. He spun past me in a frenzy, in an attempt to display his alpha fredliness to me. I just quietly follow behind him on my commute. About 3 minutes later it looks like hes pedaling squares, huffing and puffing. I give him a nice ding ding of the bell and pass him. I look over and hes tucking his head down, wont look up. I just wanted to wave and say "have a nice day". Ah, well...

today I had to work on a sunday, eff me.

then to blow off some steam I went out on my Mash and tried to find a route for me and my buddies to ride that featured some nice long straightaways. think I got a decent stretch.

ms150 a month away and I'm in the worst shape in the last 2 years due to the rain we had these last 3 months

Ah, the daftness continues.

Vegans can get food poisoning too. For the record, I once got it from fruit when I was vegan.

I got it from greens once. The worst one was from a bad Tuna salad sandwich. That one tore me right up!

FWIW, if I remember correctly that deadly e.coli outbreak in Europe last year was from vegetables and fruit, not meat.

I know, I know. Pull the broomsticks out of your asses people. I think like 40 people died from infections stemming from consuming cantaloupes.

I shouldn't, but as a chef I feel it is my duty to say that food is rarely poison. The actual term is Food-Borne Illness.

Anyhow, I finally fixed my flat. I dig the Vandal, except for the limited rear visibility and the fact that the chest strap doesn't tighten enough for me.

~30 miles today with rolling hills. Would've went farther, but it was getting dark. I was also pretty exhausted towards to end of backtracking. Ate at Austin's in downtown Ft. Collins with some buddies. And I wrapped my bars.

Fizik Microtex. Feels good man.

One thing to think about :

People use their cell phones in the bathroom, then wipe their ass, then go and wash their hands, then touch their cell phones again, then they go wait in line and possibly order food with a credit card or some cash.

Now just think for a moment about the act of wiping your ass. Think about how coordinated the average person is...

...or that people ask to "borrow your cell for a moment?"
