make / manufacturer: Novara
model name / number: Randonee

This is a nice, rarely-used, practically new Novara Randonee 21-speed road bike. 23 1/2" (60cm) chrome-moly frame. Comes with standard Shimano RSX STI brifters (brake/shifter combo); Shimano RSX derailleurs, gear set, and quick-release hubs; Shimano cantilever quick-release brakes; Diatech headset; and 700mm Avocet Cross tires on Mavic MA2 wheels. I have added a Topeak luggage rack, CyclePro bottle racks (2), marker lights, and RhodeGear wheel chock. This is a nice, standard road bike for casual riding and/or commuting.

Piero Zurino "Special" Swiss Randonneur - $300 (NE)

bicycle type: road
condition: good
frame size: 54 cm
wheel size: 700CI'm reluctantly letting this beauty go. 700c frame with clearance for 30c tires. Ready to drop onto a nice set of wheels and enjoy.

1978-ish Piero Zurino "Special" Randonneur

55 center to center top tube
54 center to center seat tube

Columbus tubing with cast lugs
Swiss (!) threaded bottom bracket

Built up with a mashup of choice late 70's parts
Campagnolo Super Record Cranks
Campagnolo Record Front Derailleur
Shimano 600 friction shifters
Shimano 600 Arabesque Rear Derailleur
Shimano DuraAce calipers
Suntour Superbe Pro levers
Campagnolo Record 1" headset
Cinelli Stem
Cinelli Bar
Beautiful old Ideal leather touring saddle
Silca pump
Velo Orange fenders
I put some older Japanese pedals on it that may be useful
Nice bell and a small canvas handlebar bag

I can supply the original wheelset with Shimano 600 hubs and Mavic rims but they need some work and honestly should be rebuilt.

This makes a great classic road ride/light tourer. These were actually training frames for the continental road team that the Velo Schwab company sponsored in the 70's. Has more traditional road geometry but a few added braze ons for fenders, etc.

I just never get a chance to ride it anymore and it deserves to be on the road.

Looking for 300 or best offer.

Trek 560 for cheap.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...658042883.html

Classic Trek 12-Speed - $100 (Lowell)

Classic Trek 12-speed, 560 series. This bike is an oldie but a goodie. Always stored indoors. Computer, pump and pedals included. The computer has the cadence function. I believe the bike to be 63 cm. It would make a great city bike or convert to a single speed.
Thanks for looking.

I can be reached by e-mail or phone, 978-eight-zero-four-8556.

Thanks,

Rodney

1983 Miyata 610 Touring bike 58cm 15 speeds clean ready to ride - $500 (Lowell)

I am selling a vintage 1983 Miyata 610 touring bike with a 58cm Miyata double butted steel frame, Suntour Mountech derailleurs, Sugino VP triple crankset, Dia Comp canti-lever brakes, SR Rando bars and 27" Araya aluminum heavy duty touring wheels. I built this bike up with the intentions to do some touring but never did anything over 60 miles. I ripped the bike down to the frame which I sprayed the tubes internally with Frame Saver to prevent any rust spots in the future. I waxed the frame, overhauled all the bearings and begin building a touring bike. The following parts is what I've added to the bike Shimano Crane/Dura Ace (1st gen) bar end shifters, Cane Creek SCR brake levers, MKS Lambda pedals, new cables all around, new Jagwire silver braided cable housing, front rack, red Kool Stop brake pads, Sella Italia leather saddle, 27" Panaracer Pasela folding tires, American flag bell, new KMC chain, new Sunrace 5 speed freewheel and Brooks padded bar tape. The freewheel has a total of 40 miles on it where the rest of bike since being built has around 300 miles. Sold for cash and pick up only. Please mention name, item, location, a phone number for a response all other emails or texts will be considered spam and will be ignored. Thanks

I had not seen the ad before but don't usually browse out of my region and was looking for a Vintage Raleigh mentioned in a different thread and it's very easy to get sidetracked. Never did find the Raleigh.

This looks to me like a 1986 Trek Pro Series, 24", full 531. Not original components, but built with some reasonably nice parts nonetheless. Listed at $420-
