Rover is Univega's entry level. Would make a nice grocery getter, given it's in pretty good shape. Way overpriced. For a bike of that caliber, not inspected or tuned up, I would pay up to $30-35.

Wow, seriously. I'm tempted to drive down to Eugene and buy it for the Campy bits, and sell the frame off. Interesting crankset, too.

Definitely. If I had money to invest right now, I’d do the same. Crankset is gorgeous imo. Who ever lands that bike is a lucky dog!

I'm gonna contact the seller, and head down to Eugene tomorrow (I'm in Salem), if it's still available.

At least he got back to you on it. The worst is when someone swoops up on a hell of a deal, but the seller ignores your inquiry.

Anyhow, if that bike sold locally I have a guess who it might of been. I’ll be watching to see if it’s posted for triple the money before too long.

Yup, and the people that never take their ads down. I bought this Giordana last Saturday, and it's still on the Salem CL (also a $200 deal!):

I noticed the seller just raised the price from $425 to $500 but still a good deal. On principal, I stay away from sellers that do that. Figure out what is worth before putting it up for sale instead of raising the price.

Old, French and a brand I've never seen. Nothing fancy but it's tallish and cheap, for those to whom that matters.
