Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Seriously, every time I left a job for another company my employer was very gracious. Farewell luncheon and get together before I left. Wait a minute. Now that I think about it, maybe they were just happy I was leaving. Never mind.

Hope you give your workmates the look as you drope them at the end of the day.

Did you say that you don't have any time off between old & new, as in new job on Mon?

Pizza party, paid for out of pocket by co-workers rather than the company because the company is terrible.

Also went to a fundraiser thing with wifey last night at a brewery, we ended up at a restaurant across the street where a couple friends bartend. Celebratory whiskey was had, and my head is not feeling so great this morning. May break my riding streak today.

This is the new office building, I'll be on the 2nd from top floor. Spectacular views! Way better than the parking lot and shrubbery I currently stare at all day.

Only 18000 photos, so probably short of 10k baby photos.

I'll consider it a request and work on it, though.

Why do you guys need that kind of storage at home, anyway? Is it really just a picture thing?

One of our patients is a little old Greek grandmother. She just brought in a huge tray of homemade balaclava, I mean, baklava.

It's fantastic. Incredible. Amazing. Wow. Kudos-worthy.

There's a good chunk devoted to pics and video, and a good chunk more set aside for when I finally move on from my poverty-stricken 12mp camera, but the majority of it is a music and movie library. Actually, the majority of it at this point is room to grow and room for a drive failure without losing anything important (an imminent drive failure is why the old server is being replaced).

I rushed out to thank her, but she already left. I will give her a call later to thank her. I have already eaten two pieces and it's not even 11AM yet. I could get fat on this stuff. Maybe.

Building a rack for carrying cut glass panes in the back seat. I've already completed the installation of the screw in, chain operated light socket.
