Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

i wouldn't say that everyone has this frame color. I am the only CAAD10 around here with this color right now. But don't know how for how long, its all good though. You just go ahead and build your bike up and enjoy it when it done.

You are right they don't. But for 2014 the frames are DI2 compatible, I bought the frame from my local dealer the owner which is a good friend of mine, for $800 then built it up with Di2.

Not a big fan of Cannondale's green theme in general, but this bike looks classy
I like the simple 2 tones of the frame, with a contrasting fork. I really hope this colourway design finds its way to road CAAD10 models. Perhaps not in green. I could see it done really well with red base with white letters, with the fork being mostly black (almost the opposite of the fork pictured).

Yep. You get little Di@ fittings to run the wire internally through the DT and out the seat tube. Have fun with that install, lol.

Very cool. Where do they put the battery? Under the down tube like they did for 2013?

anyone upgraded their brake set on a CAAD 105 other than just swapping pads?

there is no fitting on the frame for battery, its design for the battery to be in the seat post and thats where mine is.

I'm never going to race and do about 100-150 miles a week with a usual long weekend ride mileage in the 50-75 range. I like the CAAD10 but am afraid I'll regret not getting a cf bike.
Your asking on the wrong thread. The CAAD 10 grows on you and the more you ride it, the less tempted you to try others.

Shimano 105 (5700). Performed better than KoolStop salmon upgrade.

Always loved the look of Cannondales and have recently started looking for one to call my own. I am currently riding a 2005 Specialized Allez Elite that is all aluminum with a carbon fork. I initially started looking for something with a carbon frame, but I really like the aluminum Allez I riding now, just looking for something a little newer. Seems like people really like their CAAD's and their aluminum frames, so it may be worth a shot. I have an REI real close to me and I am going to head over there to check some of them out, for size and such.

I found a 2013 CAAD10 equipped w/ Ultegra for $1000 on Craigslist, and I'm thinking it may be too good of a deal to pass up. Let me know what you guys think?? Thanks a lot

That sounds like a pretty good deal. Current MSRP on a CAAD10-3 (w/Ultegra groupset) is $2270.

Agreed on that Ultegra level CAAD 10, if it fits you and is in excellent condition, I'd buy it. Check everything over carefully and look at each component and the wheels closely to be sure they are not hiding anything off the wall. Do your due diligence with CL, as usual.

Some random China special clinchers. I've ridden them daily and swapped from other bikes for the past 1500 miles. Still true, very stiff and no issues. Color me impressed for $600

This is probably my favorite color. At first I did not like it but it has grown on me. A lot.

I also dig the brushed aluminum bikes as well.
