Graduated with my masters degree on Friday. Girlfriend threw me a surprise party afterwards. Have had a pretty chill weekend with no schoolwork! I've probably worked 12 hours a day every single day for the last 10 weeks in order to finish this thing up. Feels great to have this behind me and I'm hoping to FINALLY get back on the bike!!!

So I haven't used my PowerTap in a while (because, ya know, I haven't ridden). When I rode last weekend I used it, so I have a file. But I got a new laptop a month or two ago and it doesn't have WKO installed. Going to their website it looks like everything has changed and it's not a desktop application anymore or something?
I'm confused. How do I just download the version I'm used to, or is that version gone and I need to find it on my old laptop?

My mech friend that hooked me up with my tarmac was kind enough to take off the dork disk, but didn't pay attention to lock ring torque and I can't get the dang cassette off to put it on my powertap. I snapped a link in my chain whip trying. Dude is wayyyy stronger than me
The plus side is after like 2hrs of tweaking it's pretty close to my old bike fit, minus the flipped seat post.

My new kits came today. It's like Christmas! Went with small this year - jerseys and wind vest are perfect, bibs feel a tad snug but I fit in them. Bringing one set to AZ tomorrow, hope to get a ride in on Saturday.

I've broken chain whips, the same one, multiple times, on the track bike. The weak part is the bolt that they used through the final link to attach it to the whip itself. I've never broken the actual chain. I drilled out the whip a bit, and drilled out the chain plates a bit, and put in a beefier bolt and haven't had any trouble since.
This was a nice Park Tools track size 1/8" whip.

My dad would have been 71 today. Always a poignant day for me. Miss the guy terribly. He'd have been almost as old as ShovelHD.
