I was finally able to finish up Zoom meetings for the day, and take the newly-rebuilt Cannondale out for a ride! Two small problems - first, this seems to be the busiest time of day, trafficwise, and second, it's REALLY WINDY out there! So I decided to forego a long shakedown in favor of a brief 'get acquainted' ride.
I rode enough to get a feel for the shifting and brakes, both of which are working well! I used a file to remove the less-worn ridge off the pads, then sanded them to remove the shiny, and they worked nicely. They're the first generation of dual-pivot brakes, and thus pretty good to start with. Shift was crisp and simple, and dialed in.
So, what was it like riding with DT shifters for the first time in 25 years? Weird. My fingers kept looking for the shifters on the brake levers. I shift A LOT, and don't generally think about it much, and you really have to with these. You have to plan before a hill, etc.

I just looked at the Miche website, and now I'm confused. Am I seeing this right - their site doesn't list any pre-configured cassettes and you just build your own?

Seems everyday is a track day for her. She came home one day and told me she raced a Vette while out with a friend. And won.
