I ended up riding this bike for about 20 miles yesterday after purchasing it. I kept the suspension unlocked about 50% of the ride as it really was very comfortable for asorbing bumps in the bad roads I was on. I love that I can just turn it while riding and lock it out without even having to stop. When I want to sprint I just lock it and speed up, then unlock it for rougher areas. Very happy with my purchase. I just bought a dual pack of water bottle holders off amazon because 1 just ain't cutting it when I'm on the long trips, picked up a bike light off amazon, a bike bell, and phone mount. Actually ended up swapping the stock saddle back on because it's much more comfortable than my aftermarket one. I'll be returning that to my LBS today 
I'm thinking about buying fenders for the bike since it got pretty dirty after 1 wet ride yesterday, but other than that I'm loving it. It truly is very comfortable. I wasn't able to ride nearly this long on my road bike or Marlin 5.
