My guess is that this is the made in Canadia SHT (lol) model which was second from the top in the Sekine lineup with Shimano Titlist derailleur and chrome tipped forks.
According to the Craigslist ad: "Vintage Sekine 10 speed, large frame 26", bought new in 1974 had new cables and bearings about five years ago and very little ride time after that."
You can read more about the Sekine brand here

One more neato Panasonic. An original Mountain Cat 6500 for $220
(They might have made a same bike for the Schwinn label. Have a friend with the Schwinn version of which I've seen up close. Cool fork crown. Very nice quality.)

Love the color scheme.
This is one of those bikes that is still tempting to me. One could buy it, treat it to a thorough cleaning, update wear items and then happily ride the daylights out of it.
The paint looks like someone actually used the bike and that means the new owner wouldn't have to worry about a scratch here or there.
Very cool.

Winter project? Needs wheel QRs, tires, hoods, tape. Otherwise looks to be in decent shape under that thick layer of garage grime.

This Merckx Team SC might be a bit modern compared to some of the finds in this thread but at $100, this is just a fantastic deal

Anyone know what this is? More pics in AD.
https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/...374417711.html
- Beautiful lugwork on a lightweight, dependable Columbus SLX steel frameset (58cm, for someone around 6').
- Complete Shimano Ultegra/Dura Ace 10-speed drivetrain.
- Expensive goodies like the Dura Ace seatpost, Ritchey Force stem, and brand new Velo Orange saddle.
- The whole package weighs around 20lbs, which is a testament to the lightness of the frame, considering the wheelset is nothing special.
This bike rides beautifully and has brand new cables, housing, and bar tape. I intended to build this as a bike for myself, but it's hung in my studio for years. Now I'm getting rid of the studio and need to clear out some belongings. This bike is a steal at $525, and will last you many years to come.
Note, I don't know the bike's manufacturer, but it's almost certainly Italian. The Italian-threaded bottom bracket and Campagnolo dropouts were the major giveaways. I'm not an expert, but if you are, I can send you better pictures of the lugs and other identifying features . I bought this frame years ago from a friend who also had it hanging around for years, and I don't know where he got it.

Yup, totally agreed and it is even more tempting now that he has lowered the price to $900----I bet he would take $800.

Schwinn Tempo 56cm Columbus Tenax road bike - $170 (Cambridge)
condition: good
make / manufacturer: Schwinn
model name / number: Tempo
size / dimensions: 56cm
For sale is a nice used Schwinn Tempo road bike, recently tuned up with new chain, cables, wheel true. Frame is double butted Columbus Tenax steel, 56cm TT and ST, 73/73 angles. Very smooth riding frame, horizontal dropouts would make for a nice fixed conversion, tire clearance for at least 28s front and rear, I've had a 32 in front. I'm 5'8" and it fits great, I hate to sell it, just have too many bikes. $170
Campagnolo front hub, Axis rear, Mavic Open Pro SUP rims 32h
28mm and 25mm Continental tires
Campagnolo brakes
Shimano Sante crankset, 53/39t
Recently replaced UN52 bottom bracket
12-28t 8 speed cassette
Tiagra front, Sora rear derailer
Suntour downtube shifters, very nice auto trimming rear shifter
Nitto stem, Profile Design bars, Fizik tape, Shimano Sante levers
Fizik Aliante titanium rail saddle
weight is about 23.5lb
$170

Miele Azsora Road Bike, 58cm 4265 Canadian
Text of Ad says -
"If the ad is up, the bike is still available.
Miele Azsora Road Bike, 58cm, 33.25" stand over, best suited for a rider at least 5'9" tall, Ishiwata butted frameset, 700C QR wheels, Shimano drivetrain, brakes, gears adjusted, wheels trued, new chain & bar tape, cleaned and ready to ride. Price $ 265.00" (fyi this would be roughly $210 US)
Bike located Ontario near Niagara Falls border - I just saw it, has been up since 6 Oct
No matter how many times I stare at the ad I can't make it bigger and since I need a 63cm so I'm out.
Note that should be $265, not 4265

Fast Light Steel Road Bike - Bianchi Alfana - 21 Speed, 61cm, Exc Cond - $200 (Boxford)
© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
(google map)
condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Eduardo Bianchi
model name / number: Alfana
size / dimensions: 61 cm
more ads by this user
Experience the speed, responsiveness, and comfort of one of the finest chrome-molybdenum steel bicycles ever mass-produced -- without making a big commitment. This Italian-designed Alfana from Eduardo Bianchi was built in Japan (1993). A Tange-Bianchi Superset-2 double-butted chromoly-tube frame and the original Shimano-105 components help it achieve a total weight of less than 22 lbs in a large (61 cm) frame that is suitable for cyclists ~ 6' and above.
The original 14-speed racing gears have been upgraded to 21-speed by adding a third (climbing) gear to the crankset. As was standard in 1993, both (indexed) shifters are located on the downtube. Other components include Araya rims (one is original), an Avocet Racing saddle, and Conti Gatorskin tires.
Offered by the original owner, who bought it for $850 from one of the first bike shops (in Berkeley CA) that supported the rise of U.S. amateur road racing. A few thousand miles were logged on this bike until 1999, when a Titanium bike was substituted. Use was resumed in 2009 on a trainer. This bike has always been kept indoors and is in excellent used condition.
If you are seriously interested, you can "ride" this bike on a Kurt Kinetic trainer that simulates actual cycling, so that it can be adjusted to fit you precisely. The price is firm.
Downsizing in Boxford, 12 min N of the I-95 and US-1 junction. When you visit, please consider checking out our other sale items (search under "For Sale" on "downsizing in boxford" [in quotes]).
