Absolutely. I follow Doc's sales on ebay, and may one day end up with something from him. All very fine builds at very honest prices.

Here's another early eighty's Trek 420. Weren't we just talking about these? This one looks to be a few years newer that my '82 - this has the fastback seat stay / binder bolt arraingement.

Tempting! Unfortunately, it has been converted to fixed (I love fixed gear and have nothing against it, but feel that a Cinelli road frame is not the right candidate), but at least it appears to have been done to a very high standard.
