Thank you Bianchigirll! I was worried that mine was a fake because I only saw sticker decals but you're right on the drop outs near the back wheel there is the Bianchi stamped/embossed on both sides.

These also came in red, at least the later-eighties models with unicrown forks. These are quite decent all-around bikes that might take wide enough tires for someone's off-road fun.
The Exage calipers have no quick-release, so a chromed QR button is incorporated into each lever. They're really needed once you put wider tires on.
I also picture my early-eighties Nuovo Racing, just to show how it's particular shade of blue Deda tape looks.

Welcome to BF. I don't expect good luck converting the old-style Mavic rims to tubeless because the inside shape of the rim is wrong. Just buy new rims that are tubeless-compatible.
