@jdgesus: I'd actually be interested in picking those up, if you're thinking about unloading them and Lilcphoto isn't into it. Not a big fan of the drops on my roller, but I'd like to give some townie-style bars a chance before just picking up another pair of rando's or dirt drops.

The initial impression was " a little bit of more comfortable and less responsive" compare to Kilo. It was hard to say what is faster on the hard push, since the gearing was not the same (Kilo 48-17 and Steamroller was 49-16). I made a swap yestarday and will re-compare it.
I liked Kilo and looks like I will like Steamroller. They both are good bikes and seems to be very comparable.

Thank you,
Honestly, I'm not sure If I want to go with white accents for a long run.
Just happened that I had white tires and seat that I like.
It came to me with all black - bartape, tires and Brooks B17 (which went to my hybrid for now).
I still need a 20mm shorter stem..

Here is my current setup on my steamroller. Have had this bike for almost 2 years now and have changed it around countless times. Have a handful of handlebars, stems, and cogs. And a couple freewheels, and chainrings. Have ran it on 52 gear inches to 84 gear inches.
It was originally a complete, but currently it has a different bottom bracket, chainring, chain, headset, wheelset, tires, saddle, stem, and handlebars. Crank arms Probably done now for a while, and will be building a bare knuckle. Handful of parts will be coming over. Love this bike, but ready for something new.
Then with this frame I want to get a different machined wheelset, 38c's, front and back brakes, wider riser handlebars, freewheel and gear it lowish. Maybe longer cranks too. And use it as a trail / crappy weather fun bike. Think it would end up being a pretty cool bike. Can get the bruiser fork too for more clearance and better front brakes.

It's a Kashimax Frame Protector (top tube). It's supposed to protect the top tube from dings and dents. Place it where the handlebar makes contact with the top tube. It's good for drops, as risers or flats usually don't contact the top tube.
Currently my Gray-Green Steamroller is mostly stock except:
Orgin8 stem + 31.8 track bars(fully wrapped) +cross brake handle
Smaller surly cog
Black Turbo Saddle Nubuck(Suede)
Cateye Strada Wireless W/cadence
I will get a picture of it when I get home in two weeks.
I also have a cetma rack but need a set of 31.8 risers so I can use the same stem

Surly track cog 3/32... not all track cogs created equal?? What chain to run??
Mind if I revive a thread for a quick question... Figured this would get the quickest response. I have 3/32 at 15t surly fixed rear (44t front with perfect chainline) and I need to know what chain people run. Anyone have problems getting a chain to fit to a rear Surly fixed cog???
Not kidding either... I've tried a few different types of 8sp Z chains and several brands at 1/8th and can't get either a good or any fit on the rear cogs. Previously I've been running a Z 8.93 which has been my best fit to date. Still I feel it's slightly off, but I can't find any other chain to even work. Thanks for the help!
