Wide range gravel gearing options
I screwed up. I asked a buddy if all shimano 11 speed cable pulls were the same for road and mtb. He said yes. I bought a M-5100 derailleur and just discovered that he was very wrong. The 105 11 speed shifters on my gravel bike don't work. Found out that 11 speed uses 1.4-1 ratio apparently. I bought a 11-46 cassette too which I really want to start using. Looks like my options are a 45 dollar cable pull adapter or a 80 s-road rear derailleur, or maybe a goat link and using my old 105 with the wide range cassette?
Any other suggestions?

The Wolftooth Tanpan will make that setup work: https://www.wolftoothcomponents.com/products/tanpan
I use one with 105 shifters and an 11-speed XT rear mech. Works great.
