Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I agree. Go back and read it again through the eyes of someone frustrated by multiple near-crashes and needless damage by inexperienced interlopers who feel that an open road means an open invitation.

I don't disagree. However, I can see how some people can view the delivery of the message as arrogant if they aren't in the categories you mentioned above. I defended the thread...he criticized the method of delivering said information...

The original exchange:

...and unlike the BS that goes on in that Addiction thread, there is a mature discussion with exchange of experiences and ideas over here. Next time when he is doing his thing, I'll just grab the mike from him and go 'Thanks EV from all at BF!'

They forced me out of my own thread. It was too dumb even for me. Just think about that for a minute. That level of stupidity is mind warping, even for BF.

...some points to ponder...with 47K+ posts, if you put yourself on your ignore list, will you even be able to navigate around the forum...this would be well...boggles the mind....what does it all mean...

Nothing to do with yelling, but I just picked up "Roadie" (written by the OP) at the local B&N last night.
I plan on giving it as a Christmas present to my wife. Hopefully to help her understand my "obsession" with bikes and cycling.

I have a feeling the only one who'll be reading it is me.
