Thanks! Right now my thought is to get Shimano 105 pedals and and the Mavic Ellipse wheelset, even though those China Carbon wheeelsets look sweet. At the moment I'll only have one wheelset so they'll be pulling training and race duty.

Thank you! I can't wait to take it on the track (hard to do w/o wheels). My wife said we could mount it on the wall until it's ready.

Nagging minor injury has me frustrated, so trying to cheer up with a new build. Haven't ridden it yet, so sizing not dialed in. I had plans to paint it, and still might, but I don't mind the matte black... even if it is being done to death by dudes on their luxury/exotic cars.

Nice! What frame is this?

My Tiemeyer is matte white. It's a smudge magnet

Looks like quite a few frames are starting to look like cervelo T4s.

I don't mind.

I got a few nice shots of my bike on its new wheels from Velomine when I went to the Forest City Velodrome this past January.

With my girlfriend's track bike.

The banking was ridiculous. Kissena's gonna feel dull after this.

Hong Fu FM-126... but you see it pop up lots of places. Veloforma is currently branding it (which is one of places it caught my eye, Zak K. is riding one). Two sessions in, feels very solid/stiff. Handling similar to my previous two (PX and Fuji TP), perhaps a tiny bit quicker/twitchier? 14.91 lbs as it sits in that photo (#irrelevant).

I thought it seemed familiar. Zack is really fast on his.

The different handling is probably due to the 72.5 deg head tube angle. The Planet X has a 75 degree head tube and the Fuji Track Pro has maybe 74 degrees.

Yeah, that's why I phrased it so weakly. It is probably more just new bike phenomenon, not dialed in perfectly yet. And to be honest, the session today I didn't notice it like the first session. I retract the assessment until further review.

It's very stiff - and it's really direct in the handling (I'm using it on the road and in the cities) having some problems at the moment though. This week my bearings of my rear hub cracked - replaced them, and now my bottombracket is broken. It's not top of the line, the sram s300. But I have it for like 3 months now.. What's the best choice - omnium with miche chainring? Or maybe even rotor?

Did you get it at Hong Fu ? How much did the frame cost ?

Thanks

The reason I ask about the handling is because I am thinking of putting on a road fork for use in a road time trial in late February. I'm curious how it handles. The road fork will change the trail from around 60mm to ~45mm, depending on the fork.

For comparison:
Hi,
took it to manchester velodrome for a shakedown yesterday, absolutely fantastic! Yet to get some aerobars to try on the road. Handling was sublime, including some evasive manouevres at 33mph when a beginner moved up right in front of me without looking!

The old bike (with me throwing it back and forth) and the new bike which just saw it's second day on the velodrome this week. My new bike looks a little too much like VanceMac's bike ... hmmm. Regardless I am looking forward to getting it out on the track more.

P.S. Hey how come mine are smaller than everyone else!?
