Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Heh. Dean lasted half a year, so that's not teeeeerrrrible. I really do plan in keeping the Ss evo for a while though. I've been wanting one for a long time now, and I finaly got my hands on a brand new one with nice paint for a decent price too.

Finally finished building up my custom steel disc road aka The Money Pit. The second pic gives you a sense of the range of color change in bright sun.

Smoking hot, love it. Who built it or did you do it yourself?

The frame was built by a student at Metal Guru who happens to have very similar measurements. The paint was done at Horse.

What color? Not flat puke gag black I hope.

Seriously, I've been looking at the Supersix Evo for a while.

Very hot. Though if the wheels aren't really Zipps, then the stickers cheapen it a bit.

Yeah the previous owner had them on, after a little research I found out Zipp owned Cane Creek. I have been debating on ripping them off and just going blank until I get my new wheels which should be here in the next month or so. Thank you for the kind words how ever, I am glad it is still hot in some eyes

Stickers aside, if the bike is a 51-54 and you want to sell, PM me. That's how hot it I think it is.

the Focus is hot. however, my OCD brain would really love to see that stem painted the same color blue you used on the front portion of the top tube.

This is a look that, in catalogs or in isolation on a website, doesn't have much impact. Haze gray? ZZZ.... However, whenever encountered on the street, I'm always strongly attracted to it. And if the finish is clean and just sort of glossy, I wanna grab it and take it home.

Exactly what I was going for, more neutral color scheme but still give a little pop on the streets and I will say I can not wait for some sunshine as this is a nice and shiny paint job. I did the paint and had my automotive friend do the clear coat, he has painted bike in the past and currently works with a lot of higher end sports cars repainting carbon and other pieces for them, I am very happy and pleased with the results

Definitely hot. The custom paint scheme mimicks Ritte's - don't know if you were going for that or just coincidental.

This really needs more elegant bars. Label is unfortunate.

Totally agree - I always thought the bars were horrendous. Just ordered some real (not ergo) drop bars - will update once they arrive.
