A couple of ghost bikes created a few days ago and in the background my '76 Viscount which just received new bottom bracket bearings.

The sobering story is the purpose of the ghost bikes. Ride safe all.

Firstly my - yet to be built up - Roberts built 1978 Geoffrey Butler (build will be full Record with Portacatena).

Secondly my 1984 Raleigh Corsa in Oyster, bought new and built in the Lightweight Unit at Nottingham - first year for the Corsa and only year for this paint.

I see a few in Ivory, so I'll add my 82 Lotus Classique. It has a nice ride, so was planning a complete restore. But after fixing all the rusty spots/chips and a wax, decided to just ride it as is while I watch for a longer stem. Don

My white Paramount, and a very nicely-maintained ghost bike, sniffing each other's butts, on Old Creek Road near Morro Bay California last weekend. I can tell the victim was well-loved, and is undoubtedly missed.

Grief aside, we have had the most fantastic winter for riding I have seen in an entire lifetime of living in the Golden State. There has yet to be a single day this fall and winter when the riding conditions were not superb (and mostly warm). The smoke was a little bad at times during October, but it's been a great year to hit the hills during our so-called cool months. I have yet to wear even leg warmers all this year.

A Grand Prix mixte I built up for my sister as a surprise Christmas gift. Couldn't actually see her for Christmas so on a November visit I left it with my other sister who lives much nearer (I'm a few states to the west). The intended recipient finally got it this weekend, was duly surprised and I understand it went over well. I have this in a separate post on my experience removing a dent from the headtube. Fun!

Looks like I don't need to. Going back through older posts, I am thinking that green is the color of March.

Had to finish up my longest-running small project before the month was over thanks to this thread. I have four celebrants.

Shadowfax still needs the proper bar-end plug, but it's close enough for this thread. Repainted 1970 Raleigh Professional. Paint by the one-time denizen of C&V, Dr. Deltron.

My "war horse", who I just noticed is getting to be in need of a good overall cleaning and refreshing - 1972 Fuji Finest

My "Horse with no name" (or at least no visible serial number), 197x Raleigh Grand Sports

And finally, the "baby" of the fleet, a 2000 Bob Jackson "Arrowhead". I intend to change that hideous bar tape before winter is through.
