It's on "closeout", and sounds like a great deal. Any thoughts on it?

Yea...my only thought....get it before it's gone! Wow, for that price, you can't get an old used bike.

Hmmm, was thinking this would make a great drop bar conversion or to put on my trainer at home. But alas, I cannot order since Bikes Direct is having a Paypal issue that is preventing any ordering.
Thinking it's already sold out.

still there, but checking out doesn't work due to paypal issue.
Seems to be a great deal. not for me since i like disc brakes and 1x drivetrain or 2x10 etc.... but thinking of buying that for my wife. not sure why, just seems a great deal.
I read some reviews of people that bought it at the original $499 (it shows as $399 now), and they seemed to like it. so at $178 you can't go wrong.
There also seems enough clearance for larger tires (comes with 28mm, which is narrow for hybrid)

As far as the checkout, other bikes seem to be able to be added to the cart. I can't say if the issues are intentional or not. I'm also not finding that bike through the indexes, although perhaps I'm not looking in the right spot.
However, on the "Contact Info" page, there is a phone number for phone orders. For the ones that really want the bike, jump on the old horn Monday morning, and see if they'll take the order.
