Spent some time today doing a few things to the Axis. Found out it is a 2002 model built in late 01. Wheels are original! Switched out stem, saddle and straightened the bar tape. Will replace it in due time. This was owned by a doctor who never rode it then given to his friend who couldn’t ride it.
Short shakedown ride ride with my son. It handles quick with instant acceleration. Not happy with the height of the handle bar, need to cut the steering tube at some time.

On there now
Gonna try these
Thanks @Deal4Fuji
a good ride convinces me my buddy at the LBS spoke the truth. The front brakes on the Axis squeal like banshees! I can’t ride tomorrow so will try switching the older Avid shorty 6’s for some newer ones and see if it makes a difference. It’s a shot... might wind up with a fork cable adjuster instead of the headset one on there now.

Didn't think anything would win my fancy over my trusty Cross Check, but I've had this Rove ST for a couple weeks now and I am jazzed. This bike is so comfortable, maneuverable, just plain fun. And I'm really sold on 650B now for this kind of riding, and the ByWays do not disappoint (set up tubeless). Pretty much stock. Might put my Cowbells on as I think I like them a tad better that the Kona bars, but no rush. This bike rocks right outta the gate. Serious bang for buck.

Hey Thanks! Do you meant their CX models now or all their modern model line? I have not seen their more recent line up.I would not turn down what Lotto Jumbo rides in the Tour though!

My cyclocross bike: A Merida CX 4 from 2014. Race bike, very robust frame. 33c cx tyres
My gravel bike: A Diamant Adventure Road 2018 (I think the brand Diamant is only popular here in Norway... XD). 30c gravel tyres. Quite light to be a gravel bike with aluminium frame.. 8,5kg.

Just picked it up today. It's mostly going to be a winter/commuting/potter about with the dog bike, but I'm itching to get it off-road. It's a Felt F40x. Tiagra groupset with hydraulic discs, Hutchinson Overide tubeless tyres. Lovely ride so far, but only have about 25 miles on it so far.

My 2014 Trek Crockett 9, repurposed as a flat bar commuter and or bar hopper! I love the way this thing handles with the flat bars, but gotta watch it on the wheelies. The front end comes up so fast!
