Please help me verify Pinarello F10

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Please help me verify Pinarello F10

Well, already knowing the dealer he bought from is a non-authorized seller (and therefore not caring about MAP), and presuming that the US dealer selling at $5K is still making a good margin; I don't think anyone could in itself say that a 3200 Euro price is impossible for a real frameset.

Even though Pinarello has confirmed it's a legit serial number, it doesn't sound as if you are going to be happy with the frame. Why not return it and start fresh? Lots of nice bikes out there.

Thats exactly what I told him to..! Send the darn thing back and get your cash. The way he was forced to pay for it, i highly doubt he will ever see a penny back.

some rider in Taiwan told me that he was severing for Taiwanese for pinarello f10 maintain ,real bike and fake bike.He said my bike frame is real, the fake is low quality.
see from bolt screws and the line through hole could distinguish real and fake.

maybe I will keep it and build it.
ride tens of years.....

If the seller won't take it back, you have few options other than riding it or hanging it on the wall. At this point you couldn't sell it for anywhere close to what you paid, you may as well try to enjoy it!

Reply from cyclexclusive.com

I want to tell something from our side. The customer send us nice email at the end, but we can not see that here very clear. So we think is good to tell our side.

For sure this is a 100% real and 100% unused F10. But good to know the full story as well. Cause we sound a bit hard in the showed reply. This is a bit frustration from our side.

We as CycleXclusive.com, only sell high-end frames and bikes. No entry levels frames. Sometimes it is difficult to agree on these terms with a distributor, and we find solutions to buy differently. This can be buying some overstock from the factory or a distributor. But always 100% authentic! We are sure about that.

It sounds maybe a bit hard that we advise him to buy next time somewhere else. But we are sure we sold him an authentic and new frame. Communication was more than 70 emails and phone calls at uncomfortable daytimes for us :-). Pinarello approved frame authenticity. So after that, it is for us also frustrated that there is no trust and still looking for doubts, instead of being happy with the deal and enjoy riding the frame. It does not make sense that we have to say all the time it is authentic and new. This is very time consuming and does not make our work nice.

Because of this experience and the feeling that the customer had no trust in us, we advise him to buy other parts somewhere else. We prefer happy customers instead of more sales. This is better for both of us.

About the payment and shipping.
We always ship with FedEx or UPS, because this is very save and secure. The customer wanted shipment with EMS, that is national shipment is much cheaper to ship with. We usually never use this company for expensive products, because it is very tricky. No insurance from our side and tracking is very slowly. Which gives unhappy / nervous customers. So we agree if we send with this company it is his responsibility and we need payment by banktransfer, cause paypal or creditcard can refund if something goes wrong. For FedEx or UPS we have no problem with Paypal or Creditcard.

About returning.
The customer wanted us to pay for the return costs, because of his doubts. We did not want to pay for the return costs, because his doubts are not right. If he payed return himselve we had to accept it.

After all the discussion, we received a sweet mail from the customer. But after reading the discussion here wanted to give reply as well.
