Just curious, do you have a small, medium or large head? I've got a big head (7 3/4 or 7 7/8 hat size) and finding glasses that aren't painfully tight is a challenge. My current pair, I left in a hot car in the sun for several hours before wearing for out for an hour or two to try to get them to melt/bend a bit to fit my head better. Those I think I got from a link someone posted here about some super cheap glasses from China (that started a whole fight about safety).
For big-headed people in general, one thing that has served me well is finally learning that lens and bridge width measurements a) are a thing and b) are often printed on the inside of the stem of the glasses. I now know not to even bother with trying on anything smaller than ~58mm and ~17mm (lens, bridge). Try some stuff on, get an idea of what measurement ranges work well for you for a given style and it'll make the process a little easier and less ambiguous than user opinion.

As an aside, my massive noggin has also resulted in a lot of cycling caps I've bought/received as gifts being basically unusable. I've found that the cotton caps from Walz fit nicely.

I have a massive head and know exactly what you mean. The Rivbos fit/stretch nicely and are comfortable all day long for me.

Bicycle Wheel Warehouse
There was a discount code to purchase wheels from the Bicycle Wheel Warehouse. Does anyone have that code, and is it still valid?

Giro Empire ACC in Black/white for 50% off (~$138) .. good shoe if you have a Giro foot.
https://www.competitivecyclist.com/g...e-acc-shoe?s=a
Edit: Actually, fyi a little cheaper still at CC's sister site (Steepandcheap) even with the freight

tempting for an extra (but currently not really necessary) pair

If the bike was in good condition, I'd say 125 pounds is not a bad deal for a decent aluminium bike with carbon forks. Sora is the lower end Shimano Groupset.
For a first road bike, I'd say look for an aluminum frame with Carbon forks, and Shimano Tiagra or better (105, Ultegra). If you are just going to ride very casually, you can go with Shimano Claris or Sora (the most budget groupsets) as well. Also be sure to test ride the bike, as the fit / size is important! Good luck!

Giant and Diamondback have "Spring Sales" going now till first few days of May
I think DB is just corporate price so not really a "sale"

The bike seems to be unavailable, but here goes anyway: Ribble is a big online UK based retailer, and they make their "house brand" of bicycles. They are pretty well regarded as far as budget friendly bikes go. Not as nice or good as the big name brands perhaps, but you pay a lot less as well.

Big sale on many things at REI through 5/27. Ortleib bags 25% off, for example. Also Garmin 520+ 25% off.

I wish the Wahoo units would go on sale instead of Garmin. They never go on sale and are not even sold on places like Ebay.

Ortlieb bags are nice. But I would pass on the Garmin 520. The newer Garmin 530 is out, and it is way better. This is just a way for them to get rid of outdated inventory, but no way I would buy the Garmin 520. Riddled with bugs and slow.
