Coincidence or Irony?
On my way home the other day I saw a guy wearing one of these jerseys run a read light on his bike..
Could not decide if it was Coincidence or Irony...

Was there anything unsafe about his actions?

@Paul Barnard: Well... he ran a red light at a fairly busy intersection.
He also broke the law (thus the Ironic Coincidence).
Under the Uniform Rules of the Road Law (Title 40 of the Official Georgia Code), bicyclists must obey traffic control devices.
@Shelbfly, I agree. It actually is a nice jersey, but not great for a sunny day in the south.

Our group encounters one stop light that is often a source of confusion. Sometimes they run it, sometimes they stop. It's a light for a road coming in only from the left and we are in a bike lane, so no interaction with the cars. It's a heavily patrolled road and I figure we are overdue to be stopped. Yes, I have to run it if the group does or I'd never catch up.

I thought the shirt meant, "Bikes make the law."

Then you have jerseys that don't match the bike. Jerseys that have a different brand from what the cyclists are riding.Yellow jerseys, championship jerseys, team jerseys, etc., that regular cyclists wear without being champions or members of cycling teams. Dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!

I'm a lawyer. Last weekend I saw a guy wearing that same jersey. I was returning from a self-contained overnight trip. My fully-loaded bike tends to be a conversation starter. We talked for a bit outside of a cafe/bike shop. Coincidence?

This looks like a good point for the thread to divert from the original topic.
My wife is a lawyer and speeds sometimes. Coincidence, irony, or just going with the flow?

I'm kind of reading the shirt to mean the bike equivalent of "Law of the Jungle".

I work for a freight railroad. I draft/negotiate occupational licenses for things like pipes and wires and private grade crossings. I also draft/negotiate construction, operating and other types of agreements with other railroads. I also do some real estate work, like sales and leases. Every once in a while I will tackle an employee benefits issue since I did a lot of pension litigation back in the day. Sexy stuff.

There are two kinds of drivers--those who say they speed, and those who lie about it.

Out here, we have PanAm Railways because the guy who bought the line happened to own the airline's trademark. It's a really confusing livery, especially since it's a fairly short line in New England, not exactly "pan" anything.

Depending on a logo, a jersey could be pretty cool.
