My catch of the day was a mid-to-late 80s Nashbar Toure XC. Made in Japan with Tange #2 and loaded with 18spd Suntour XC components and 700c wheels. Cost was $50 as-is.

I picked up this '90 Marin Eldridge Grade a couple days ago. I gave it a complete overhaul. It was missing tires, a front wheel and had mismatched cranks. I replaced those parts with parts bin parts. I have a total of $25 invested in it.

@Gashepherd Is it a heavily photoshopped image of what looks to be a pretty decent Centurion? My guess is in the real world the real decals are still on the stolen bike. Which sounds ridiculous actually, but there it is.
It's also a 70s bike, not 80s.

I'm sure that they are real pictures, he says it's got new paint and decals, the whole ad he's convinced it's a schwinn.

It looks to be, perhaps, a Super Lemans. Notice, though, that the rear triangle is chromed but the fork doesn't appear to be.
This one should have had decals that read 'pass,' because it has it written all over it.
