Freakin sweet, but the Thomson post doesn't belong; the aesthetic is too modern. Probably get away with the Fizik seat on its own, but otherwise it looks like it needs more modern stuff to go with the post.

Normally not opposed to Carbon wheels on classic steel but in this case I'm not seeing it.

The bike is a 1970 Raleigh Professional and the fork is original. No idea if the chrome is factory-applied. I think lots of manufacturers used similar lugs, though most Raleighs from that period sported Nervex lugs.

Made a few changes...different saddle since I happened to have this one and initially the other saddle was fine but only until the 30 mile mark and this one has been much better, Ambrosio polished tubular rims and Veloflex Arenberg tires plus the correct brake hoods.

By the way, a couple years ago I was looking for high flange hubs and I almost got me a set of sheriff star hubs, glad I didn't do it. I love Campagnolo but those hubs had a tendency to crack_ I found these through a Google search and I'm glad I did. The quality is top notch and they roll forever.Not high flange really but I also looked into Royce Venus hubs, maybe for some other build...
