I went looking for the thread size for the keeper nut on the inside of a 70s era record pedal. Anybody have it off the top of the'r head?

I have a loose Campagnolo axle for a Record pedal from this era. Using my calipers and thread pitch gauges, I measure it as M7 x 0.75.

Thanks loads! Now, is this something I can find in Merida? The search begins. Or possibly on amazon.mx.

He had lock washers. He might have the lock nuts, too.

Note that Campagnolo Gran Sport, Miche, Ofmega, Gipiemme, and probably other Campagnolo clone pedals of that era used parts that will interchange with Campagnolo Record pedals. The third-party spindles and cones aren't machined or finished as well as Campagnolo Records, but the locknuts should be fine.

Thanks, DD. I'm gonna check Amazon first. Shipping alone will be pricey. I have the toothed washer that fits down in the cone, but I lost the lock nut.

It looks like I can get 50 of them for US$12. Much less than shipping from the USA. Thanks for the offers and info.
