Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Dang, that's tough.

You do know that you can still post whether you ride or not. We won't check your mileage records.

I love my Wednesday ride buddies, but they are a bunch of knuckleheads.

A couple of them like an earlier start. So I moved this week's start from 8:30 to 8AM. One of the older guys HATES the early start and is not happy. A different guy LOVES to pick the route. So I let him pick it. One of the early lovers does not like this week's route and is saying she and the other early lover will likely go and do a different route. So now the people who pushed for the early start are bailing as they don't like the route.

Sigh.

BTW are we allowed to mention defunct cycling forums in here? Or is that still pushing the envelope? I don't want to get on anyone's bad side.

Pass.

Back tire is flat.
Training wheels on the front.
No pedals.
Plastic seat cover.
No disc brakes.

Who knows what else is wrong with it.

It's in TT position so the airflow is directed past the rear derailleur. I thought everyone knew that.

We went to our old house site. One of these is the front hill and one is the back. I can't tell which is which on my phone. If you see a patch of river, that is the front.

Edit: the second one is the back. I planted that palm from seed.
