Humidity sensor - any recommendations?

Humidity sensor - any recommendations?
Obviously this is not bike related, I'm hoping somebody in here might have some experience though and be able to recommend one. I need somewhere in the ballpark of 5 to 10, mostly to be used indoors, one will go in my garden.
My cat has asthma, dry air is bad for her, I'm trying to get a handle on this.

I have one on a bike actually - for this I got one produced for cigar boxes at a cost of few $. Another one that I have is in a humidity activated switch for a bathroom fan. Both are mechanical and rely on some element for which expansion characteristics change with the humidity. Both instruments suffer from quite some latency and I suspect that the latter might be unavoidable for any humidity sensors, even those electronic.

I keep this unit at home. I used to have it on my desk at work. I got it for the thermometer, but the hygrometer display is larger than the temperature. I haven't tested its accuracy, but I do see the number go up and down, so ...

Technology is improving, so you can now get a +\-5% accuracy for not too much money.
Do get an electronic if you can, the power aids in accuracy - the mechanicals can be 10% off, and that's too far.
I can't really recommend a consumer model, but if they have them powered up in the store, and they all read the same value - any of those will work.
