Some of you may remember the blue Tempo with the gaudy gold wheels I posted earlier.
I liked riding fixed quite a bit, but honestly I was embarrassed to go ride that bike because I felt self conscious about how it looked. So it hung in garage and got no love.
During that same time, I was having lots of issues with getting the drivetrain on my 1976 Motobecane Grand Jubile to work well enough, so I made the decision to kill two birds with one stone and convert the old Motobecane into my fixed gear bike.
Much much happier with this setup than the blue Tempo. I still need to do some tweaking like installing a 5mm shorter spindle so that I can get the chainring on the outside of the crank, but it's quiet and the chain doesn't show any indications of wanting to jump off. I'd also like to put a 42 or 44 tooth chainring on, but my current 1/8" chain is just barely long enough for the 40x16 I have on it now.

I really like the shape of these. Not many great options around the brake levers, but they have a pretty shallow drop so the drops are a nice place to be.
Drops are also super long so there's at least three distinct positions there.

I unfortunately do not know what the make and model are. It is not the original bar, that's all that I know. The 1976 catalog lists a "PIVO Professional" as OEM equipment, but these are significantly different than what is shown in the catalog picture. No markings anywhere I can see, and I don't remember there being any under the bar tape.
It is a fairly old bar, though. The stem clamp area is bulged instead of sleeved, and the overall shape feels very contemporary to the age of the bike. 25.4 clamp diameter.

Spicer triple triangle frame with nashbar carbon fork. I used to have an s3x set up on it, but just fixed now. Approx 70 gear inches. Love the upright bars, good all rounder and very stiff for my fat ass.

Early 80s Schwinn Traveler. 39/16 fixed with an 18 tooth Freewheel. Gatorskins 27 in rear, 700c Front. Going to replace the rear with a 700c soon. British Racing Green with Gold highlights on the lugs.

The shape is referred to as a "randonneur bend," and has been made by multiple manufacturers, including Gerry Burgess (GB), Sakae Ringyo (SR), Nitto, and others. Nitto still offers two versions of the randonneur bend as well as a model specific for Compass Cycles, Grand Bois recently resumed production of their randonneur bend bar, and Velo-Orange offers their "Grand Cru" bar in a randonneur bend.
As the OP's bars are unmarked, it's hard to say who actually made them, but not likely any of the companies mentioned above, as they all mark their bars.

Oh, I know this but those look like narrow version of a cross between a typical randonneur bar and a cowchipper. Would be very nice on a inner city bike for someone who mostly rides the drops.

No22 Little Wing in track mode. I have bottle bosses, a drilled fork, and a spare cockpit setup for converting it into road mode, since the outdoor track season is what it is.
