Sounds like @natterberry and I might get the chance to hand off the box in person!

Handed the box to @natterberry yesterday as he was driving through Dubuque to the Wisconsin Coppi ride.

Crapmaster on high, I appear to your inscrutable countenance to bestow upon me the pleasure of receiving the most esteemed Box o' Crap. I agree to abide by the rules and have indeed played this game before.

O Grand Crapmaster, please add this thy humble servant to the list of those awaiting a visitation from the Box O' Crap. I have read and agree to abide by the rules, and though I have not played this game before, long have I been consumed with envy for those who have experienced the thud of joy on the front porch. My lifelong quest to embrace questionable choices would not be complete without participating in this arcane ritual of receiving, sorting, removing and adding choice tidbits of greasy steel and alloy. I go now to gather my offerings to the cause.

I won't let it go to my head, I promise! But if they want to lay Campagnolo at my feet, I won't argue...

Opened the box yesterday. What happened to the tin liner?
As received

My take. I really wanted to make it back to WI for the Coppi ride, but it was sold out by the time I decided, so I took some souvenirs.

I may hang on to the box until Saturday, and try to make a face to face hand off, and maybe get my wine on up in Napa Valley!

The liner was getting beat up, so it was removed. The base was sent to me (no lid), but I agreed with his assessment. I may straighten it out and throw it back in next round, we'll see.

It may be time tocommision a new sheet metal liner. The box seems to get pretty beat up with the plastic one. (My $0.02)

It's nice. If anyone has the expertise, go for it.

@mgopack42 @RaleighSport Did you guys make the hand off? Want to get the list updated if so, and that the box is moving. We have slowed down as late and are past the 10 days...

Bo'C is on the way. Sorry for the delay....my wife thinks I should be banned for life!

Also, when re-taping the poor box together, I noticed I left out a roll of green Hunt Wilde tape. if someone takes the one still in the B.O'C., let me know and I will mail you the orphan roll.

I think it's just semi-private. As far as I know it just shows the town shipped to and from, not an address or name.

But you do bring up a good point, only PM info, and when you take a picture of the box, redact any names or addresses.
