Insane Bicycle Mechanic
I had a 1978 Schwinn Superior, bought when I started working at the local Schwinn shop. I liked that bike a bunch and I'm sorry I sold it. I'm so sorry I tracked down a similar frame and turned it into a resto-mod: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ohpv/a...57642470085394

The fillet-brazed CrMo frames were always Schwinn's sleeper models. Extra points on this one for a nice alloy crankset and that great SunTour rear derailleur. That black with brown saddle, tape, and toolbag looks really sharp.

I noticed that the article was written by some guy named Gary Fisher. That name sounds vaguely familiar. Is he a 'big' guy; over 150 lbs?
