Took a nice ride out of Hopkinsville, Kentucky to the Jefferson Davis Monument in Fairview, Kentucky. It was closer than I realized and I'd not been out there before.

Swiped these photo from the wikipedia page.

Another one from the archives. we were riding thru Yakima on an eary spring day a few years ago and had to stop to let this old fella limp across the bike path. He looked like he was going to take one last dip in the river before he passed away from this world..

This is obviously not my pic, borrowed it from a web search, but it's right by where I've been for awhile, here in The Mohave Valley area. It's Spirit Mountain, and several tribes of Native Americans believe that's where all life started. 🤔

How about some old signs, at an out-of-business Texaco station, in Needles, CA? I love those old signs for Indian motor-sickles. 😎

Nothing Ansel Adams like, but it's home. I've ridden all over and seen some beautiful sights. From the mountains of North America to the French & Swiss Alps; nothing will ever compare to the roads I traveled in my youth. Despite the familiarity, I "see" it every time. I haven't been here all my life yet but it's where I started and where I'll finish.
