I've never had a flu shot and don't know if I ever had the flu. Much to the consternation of a furry former addictionite.
Never missed a day of work until I had pneumonia last year.

And, finally, I was listening to a podcast called "Twenty Thousand Hertz" and they were talking about digital compression and the first song on the first Black Sabbath album and I realized I had never listened to that album or much Black Sabbath at all. So, now I have heard that and enjoyed it and am looking for recommendations. LoP says "Master of Reality", which is also Black Sabbath, but I'm completely open to other groups as well. Something to listen to while I'm sitting on the floor in a semi-darkened room -because most rooms are like that in houses in Phoenix- doing my homework.

Yes, I noticed that. Nah. I finally got out on the tandem a couple times and it's been like seven months since I dropped in so here I am.
I made an appointment with the GP for next week because even the so far very short trips on the bike are kicking my butt. (I'm taking a multivitamin with iron and have been hitting the trainer for ~30 minutes a day/3 times a week for a month or so.) I'm tired most of the time and oftentimes I wake up more tired than when I went to sleep. I mean I'm naturally tired when I go to sleep at night but when I wake up in the morning I'm like "What was the point of that exactly?" I was pretty sad today because LoP rode down to OHSO for a burger and we did that before together and I also got a lovely mimosa and even though I'm not eating beef anymore I could still have had a drink and a chicken sandwich or something. But I knew there was no way in hell I'd be able to make the whole trip so I had to just give him a kiss and send him on his way. Please tell me this is going to get better.

I have no problems on rides but just feel fatigued all the time. My wife thinks I have sleep apnea but she isn't a doctor and doesn't even play one on TV.
Good luck. Getting old stinks but what is the other choice?

Sweet! Tell Mrs. LAJ her truck is bad ass. I asked what year because I was hoping she got a 2nd Gen. All kinds of issues with the new(er) 3rd Gen 3.5, including problems with the transmission. Lots of people wishing they had held on to their old Taco instead of "upgrading." I have no intention of ever giving up my 2012.
I wanted the 5.7 Tundra before that goes away soon too. It's going to be replaced with a V6 and it sounds like it might be a hybrid. No thanks.

It was a choice between Larry Miller (Tour of Utah) or Groove. We went Groove, and since it was a Toyota dealer, it's Certicare covered, though I don't expect to ever need it. Sponsoring a bike team actually steered me to them, and I made sure and let them know.
I agree on your 5.7 choice. Also tried and true, and a real hoss in regards to power and torque. Good stuff, and way cool you hung on to the Tacoma.

Also an excellent choice. I like black, but Mrs. LAJ's Ranger is black, and she wanted different this go round. That's cool, because the lack of mileage she puts on a vehicle, it'll be 20 years before it hits 100K.

Sigh. At least the hanger didn't snap while I was actively pedaling. Makes riding home a little challenging. Now I know a bike fits easily in the back seat of my wife's Chevy Spark if I remove both wheels.

I can't believe you don't have one already either. I mean, you're in the land of the ice and snow.
