1983 56cm Miyata 1200 Frame and Fork

For sale is this very nice 1983 Miyata 1200; available as a frameset only. Pics with components installed are for illustrative purposes only.
Seat tube is 56cm CTC, top tube is also 56cm CTC. Stand over height is 32.5 inches. I am the third owner of this frame. Bronze/gold paint with brown headtube and infills is original

As you can see from the photos, everything is in really great condition.

Price is $200, comes with shifter mount module that has been modified to accept any Shimano down tube shifter that uses 5mm mounting bolts, seat post binder bolt and rear dropout screws. Note that price does not include shipping, but I will pack and ship it myself and use Ship Bikes as they are the least expensive right now.

Questions? Just ask.

I'm just gonna give this a bump, as I'm surprised that nobody is jumping at the opportunity to buy this awesome frame for $200.

I'm so damn glad, sort of, that you grew when I didn't.
You know I can ride that and you know I shouldn't. Dammit.

That and the Faema. Shiiiiiite!

If I didn’t have my Miyata-built Competizione, I’d have bought this already. I can vouch for it being a fantastic frame, as the Comp is very similar, and mine is the same size.

Of all the beautiful bikes you’ve listed, this one might be one of my favorites. It kills me that I don’t have the funds to buy it. Just kills me.

I’m glad I grew and he didn’t! The doc has been offering up some amazing bikes that would be hard to resist. It’s still somewhat painful to not be able to participate in this size...

He has certainly been trying to move some great looking/outfitted bikes. Too big for me, a bit both disappointed and glad. The two Merckx he listed are just gorgeous! The red one has sold and that is one I was really tempted on. If I was going to get someone from the Forums to build a bike for me, He would be right at the top.

I would love this groupset, the frame is beautiful but that group just lights it up.
That group would be sweet for my Geoffrey Butler.

Bump again. This is the last unbuilt frame I have for sale, and I keep looking at it and thinking about all the ways it could be built up...
