DYING, or DIEING?

It sounds confusing as one is not living and the other is coloring.

^^^^ There is no English word "dieing".
Dying - nearing end of life
Dyeing - imparting color to an object

Presumably the saddle in question is nearing the end of its life.

To clarify: Friend of mine has an old Brooks. It finally died, kaput, collapsed. He needed a new one and cashed in on this quick! Had the saddle in his hands in less than 48 hours. "Faster than Amazon!" as he put it. He's super happy and wants me to donate his old frame and dead leather.

1982 Koga Miyata Pro Racer, virtually perfect! - $1200 (Nashua)

1982 Koga Miyata Pro Racer, virtually perfect!

This is a 54cm 1982 Koga Miyata Pro Racer. The frame sports a fresh Franklin Frames repaint in it's original blue. It also has a replacement decal set, and then a clear coat. I took a couple small liberties with the paint, originally the headtube was not gold, it was the frame color blue, and the lug cutouts are now also highlighted in gold.

This bike originally had Dura Ace EX components from the factory, but I had a beautiful low mileage clean set of Suntour Suberbe components that wanted just the right frame for, so here it is!

Hubs - Superbe Pro w New SS Spokes

Rims - New Velo Orange

Tires - New Michelin Dynamic Classic

Seat Post - Sugino Mighty 2 bolt (Campy Style) Fluted

Saddle - New Bontrager

Stem - Nitto

Handlebars - Nitto

Crank and BB - Gen 1 Superbe

Pedals - KKT Pro Ace

Derailleurs - Gen 1 Superbe

Shifters - Dura Ace EX with NOS Suntour shift lever covers. (The frame sported those unique Shimano Shifter bosses so Shimano shifters were my only option.)

Brakes - Gen 1 Superbe

Brake Levers - Gen 1 Superbe with Rustines Brake Hoods

Chain - New KMC Z Silver

Freewheel - 6sp Shimano 600EX

Headset - Shimano 600EX

If the part was not New or NOS, it is in amazing condition, you won't be disappointed! I'm happy to send you more photos if you need. Feel free to make an offer and check out my other items!

I'd prefer local pickup, I'm willing to meet you within reason. I'd like you to see the bike to be assured that it is everything I state it to be. Contact me for payment methods to pay on pickup.

3 mountain bikes -- used - $100 (Culpeper VA)

image 1 of 3

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap(google map)

bicycle frame material: aluminum
bicycle type: mountain
frame size: various
make / manufacturer: various
wheel size: 24 in
These are somewhat older bikes, were heavily used by the family 2006-2014, but have sat in the garage collecting dust as my daughters all grew up and moved out. The bikes are "as is". Basically very sound, but need some cleaning, air in the tires, etc. This is probably $1400 worth of bikes when i bought them. i want $100 for the three.

That would make a nice addition to my 1st Gen European MTB Collection; so far I have a 1984 Peugeot Canyon Express, and an `84 Dawes Ranger (531!). This Olmo would fit right in.

Impulse control? What's that, something out of Star Trek?

Nice work. Good luck with that.

I think I've bought from him before - if it's who I think, he's a fairly significant bike flipper in N. Colorado. He turns up some gems.

Perhaps for the inquisitive??
$100 for unknown bike with "Dura Ace" might be worth a look or at least an email
I live nowhere near Medford Maryland or I'd email seller for more info/photos

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...0025069652672/

Per ad:
$100I love this bike! I am sad to part with it. Great bike for a small rider (I'm 5' but it could work for a slightly taller rider too). I'm keeping my pedals and seat but it has good parts otherwise - mostly DuraAce. I don't know the make of the frame unfortunately because it was painted over (I had it sanded and repainted at Maaco Auto Paint when I got it). But it has nice lugs and is in good condition. It will need a bit of TLC/a tune-up, but the parts are all functional if a little bit pieced together. I'll leave my seat and pedals on for test rides. Come see what you think"

I know there have been threads about this brand before (made by Araya I believe) and it was seen as generally a lower end brand with no name recognition.
Having said that, this model (Silver Shadow) seems to have been straight 600 with barcons. It seems in great shape and for $100 you usually don't see much
Currently at $100 but started at $170, then $135 so seller wants to sell it

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...1853483753591/

For sale is a Vista Silver Shadow bike - Shimano 600 components - 631 frame tubing - 24" frame - Comes with seat cover - tires still have a little tread
Asking $100 obo
Parkville, MD
