Stealth is right! I had to look hard to see the rear hub motor. Very nice and classic bike. It would look perfectly at home parked by a table at an outdoor bistro while you sip on a latte.👍

Id have really liked to have the new hubs laced to the old rims to keep it even more stealth, but it was cost prohibitive. I should be all done at £200.

Ah yes. Another "stealthy" e-bike that doesn't advertise or give very many hints if any that it is one. Maybe this is a growing trend? Looks great! Enjoy it.

My new e-bike arrived at the shop today. Went in to pick up my gravel bike from service, (it wasn't ready), and the shop tech said my new bike was delivered just a few minutes earlier. It will take a few days to build up. Got a screaming deal. It's a Pinarello Dyodo. Normally way above what I'm willing to pay, but the national distributor is sitting on a whole bunch which became a victim of the coronavirus and bad marketing research. They want to move them and are about $2,500 off normal MSRP. I also purchased the extra battery which mounts in the bidon cage on the seat downtube. It effectively doubles the range.

edit: stock picture replaced with photo of actual bike

Bike mostly as spec'd as from the factory, with a few minor modifications to suit me. Mechanicals are SRAM Force 22 all around. Hydraulic disc brakes, compact cranks, 11-32 cassette. The changes I made was a Sella SMP Lite 209 saddle instead of the MOst OEM saddle, a 44cm C-C compact Deda Elementi bar instead of the 46cm C-C MOst supplied bar, a SRAM Garmin out-front mount, a seatpost bracket for my Dinotte rear blinky, and a Garmin cadence/speed sensor on the chain stay.

Electrically, the Dyodo uses the ebikemotion X35 system with a iWoc One controller on the top tube near the head tube. The supplemental battery bracket takes the seat post bidon mount, so I have to ride with a single bottle. The extra battery plugs into the recharging port near the bottom bracket. In use, power is drawn from the internal main downtube battery and the auxiliary battery recharges the main battery until exhausted. Once exhausted, the main battery is the only one supplying juice. Power assist cuts out at 20 mph, but I often found myself going slightly faster and it felt like I was still getting an assist.

Even with the power assist, I needed a recovery day today and didn't ride, even though it was wonderful weather. Got a good workout yesterday and set a whole bunch of PRs.

Day 6 with hilltopper

Had this bike now for 3 years, its a Day 6 Dream 26. LOVE it, from the cushy seat to the easy on the shoulders handle bars is is a dream. But alas with the arthritis hills were getting tough. Pedal assist Electra was too much help. Just need it on hills and when the north wind blows. So I started looking around last spring, found something called the Hilltopper, I finally ordered one, they got it to me in 3 days. It was easy to install, even if I did have to play around a bit, tip it upside down twice, and say choice words. and before using it took it down to friends to make sure. I wasn't too far off. Used it last Friday on a bike ride with friends and it was great, got enough work in on flats and could use throttle only enough uphills to keep work load lighter on knees on the steep hills. Now I can hardly wait to ride with the group again on Tuesday.

Day 6 with Hilltopper wheel.
I did it right. LOL

Breezer Downtown 8 ST, 2017 model, converted with a 350w BBS01. It came with a Nexus 8 IGH which I wanted, I added a Hebie chainglider to replace the chainguard lost due to the mid-drive conversion. Recently added ebike lights and replaced the front wheel with a drum brake for all weather commuting, yesterday I ordered a 4-finger left brake lever and ebrake sensor to replace the current 3-finger Deore lever.

Errand bike. Late 80's Diamondback Axis with five+ year old 1000w direct drive motor and Luna 52V, 14 ah battery. Bad photo, but for those who complain that DIY bikes have "cables galore", count 'em.
